The Township Road Department maintains 36.927miles of township roads. In addition, it also has snow removal agreements with some developments that have not yet been turned over to the township for maintenance.  This brings the total road miles the Road Department preforms snow/ice removal to 50.6 straight line miles.  Remember that straight line miles consist of the snow plow going one way down the roads and then returning down the other side of the roads. 

When conditions require, the Road Department will plow the same location several times thus multiplying the mileage they maintain during a snow/ice episode to keep our residents safe.
